After 1980s', western countries loosed the regulations on transportation industry,and private-owned of recourses include airdromes and havens allowed logisticsservice providers operated infrastructures directly. And the financial innovation likethe leverage merger concentrated the whole industry. Meanwhile, the IT andadvanced equipment manufacturing make LSPs' services diversified and penetratedinto clients' supply chains. As the multi-enterprises expands their manufacture,procedure and marketing globally, their requests on services quality raised toextremely high-level. After 1990s', the idea of Serve for Clients' Supply Chainbecome popular strategic aims of LLPs. And the practices of this idea created greatprofits for LSPs.After China joined the WTO, our logistics companies face the direct competitionof foreign LSPs, opportunities accompany with challenges. Domestic LLPs revoluteand innovate to go abroad. Private-owned companies imitated and create newoperation mood and service items. But our low market filled with disorderscompetitions and inferior services. On top-grade market, LLPs sustains the fierceextrusions by foreign LLPs. They all thirst for strategic transformations andinnovations. The original intention of my thesis was to conclude the rules during thestrategic transformation of foreign LSPs to SCSPs in last decades, in order to providereferences for our local LSPs.My thesis is composed by seven chapters, 1st chapter the introduction mentionedthe aim, significance and methodology. 2nd chapter expatiated definitions andcategories of logistics service providers and Supply Chain Solution providers. 3rdchapter analyzed the motivations and positions in strategic transformations of LSPs.4th chapter made further comments on transformation mutes. With the analysis in 3rdand 4th, the 5th chapter summarized the disciplinarians in the strategic transformationsof foreign LSPs to SCSPs. According to the promises when we joined the WTO, 6thchapter listed the significant actions of foreign LSPs and finally indicated the urgent situations that our LSPs starve for strategic transformations. Last chapter the 7thsummed up the main conclusions and drew a vista.
