Strategy is the long turn development direction and scope for a company, which acquires continuous competitive advantage by adjusting resource allocation in changing environment, so it is especially important for a company to formulate and implement systematic strategy. All organizations face the challenge of strategy due to present dynamic environment. The scope of strategy includes identifying opportunities and avoiding threats, which are the major task all organizations have to implement. Once strategic decision is made, the direction of business development and means to acquire long term competitive advantage are also fixed, without saying a great influence of confirm business focus, corporate function operations, plan and action in the future, so good strategic management capability is the key success factor for organizations'survive and prosperity in the information intensive, global, dynamic 21 century.This thesis reviewed firstly the importance of strategic and strategic decision, followed by background introduction of life science industry which GG company lies in , and the description of environmental change and internal resource and capability shift. Based on theory and company situation, the thesis put forward that suitable corporate development strategy is the important solution to grasp external opportunities and overcome internal problems.In the following context, the article analyzed the external environment, including general and industry environment, as well as environmental evaluation; the internal environment, resource and capabilities, including function analysis of management, marketing, financing, operation, computer information system, as well as internal strategic factors evaluation, then the best strategy was put forward on the above basis, which was a intensive strategy by product development. Thereafter, strategic alliance was analyzed and confirmed as an effective way to implement selected strategy.Differentiation strategy was ascertained as the corrective one for business strategy, according to pretext analysis and company's distinctiveness, which could utilize the capabilities the company owns and the chance of environment. The implementation program included introduce of new product and new technology, creating income advantage; optimization of service and improvement of operation efficiency; enhancement of marketing function, increasing customer valuation identification; creation of human resource competitive advantage.Function strategy was practical and tactical way to implement corporate and business strategy. The article subsequently expatiated implementation precept of marketing strategy, human resource management strategy and information strategy. Good design and implementation of these ones would help to actualize and control corporate and business strategy.The research conclusion of this article came from a typical life science product supplier. The research process, program and conclusion will have a great use for reference to other companies in the same industry.
