This thesis describes the subsidiary company of TF OIL Co., Ltd., in order to adapt the increasingly fierce market competition environment, which faced the choice and did the systematic thinking in the process of the strategic transformation. That is how to carry out the horizontal integration business, how to choose the new business area. Especially, this paper analyzes the effect of fulfilling the strategic transformation via changing the relationship between the subsidiary company and the headquarters.The paper is composed of the five parts. The first part, it introduces the background of writing this thesis, making the research goal, methods of analysis and the thought of research. In the second part, I firstly describe the development status of the industry, and then depict the TF Corporation's general situation as the important point. The third part, I analyze mainly the inside and outside business environment of the subsidiary company, and the disadvantage and crisis of the traditional business pattern and set up the key external and internal factor evaluation matrix. The fourth part, I mainly introduce the systematic thinking which the subsidiary company made in order to put into effect the decision of the strategic transformation, namely how to change the relationship with the headquarters, how to choose the new operation area, how to develop the horizontal integration strategy, etc. And then I analyze the company from the different aspects, finally bring forward the advice about the strategic transformation of the company. And I research the potential defect in the future. In the last part, I summarize the paper and point out the conventional energy corporations still need to carry out more struggling efforts to practise in order that they could implement the real target of the strategic transformation.There are several features about this paper as listed below.The first one, in the process of the strategic transformation, this paper shows comprehensively the medium-sized energy company how to develop the new operation realm and establish all kinds of the tactic to fulfill the target of strategic transformation. This paper analyzes the real corporation case which can be learnt effectively.The second point, when we establish the material the transformation strategy, this paper analyzes the company from the different angles. Therefore, TF Company could show his advantage himself, and deal with the unstable market effectively and timely. That has the strong feasibility and maneuverability.
