A Study Of The Economical Effect To The Trade Of Textile Under The US-DR-CAFTA Rules Of Origin

With the quick development of economical integration and globalization, goods producing have the characteristics of globalization day by day. Under such situation, it's not easy to decide the origin of one goods. At the same time, because of lacking of united rules of origin internationally, some countries use rules of origin to carry on trade protectionism. The problem of original regulars are no longer a pure "technique problem" but a "policy problem" behind which there are enormous economical benefits.Foreign scholars made a lot of research to the developed rules of origin of NAFTA. The purpose of US-DR-CAFTA is the same as the NAFTA. It would influence the textile trade in US and Central America. The research about US-DR-CAFTA is just beginning. How would it affect the trade flow? Up to now there is no such systemic analyze concentrating on the Chinese textile export. At the age that our country is further integrated with world economy, how to utilize original regulars promoting our textile trade has become a hot issue in China's academic field. With the theoretic tools of international economics and international trade, this paper tries to demonstrate the effects that US-DR-CAFTA rules of origin take on such fields, and especially through collection of lots of data, statistic analysis was done to US-DR-CAFTA RoO agreements and drew a conclusion. By this, analyzing the insufficiency of China's current situation, this paper, therefore, puts forward some suggestion.Therefore, after reading many references, the paper made a conclusion of the method about how to research RoOs. On the basis of reading, I choose appropriate methods (theoretic effect analyze and the mode of gravitation), applying them into the analyzing of US-DR-CAFTA.There are 4 chapters. In Chapter One RoO were defined. Chapter Two analyzed the process US-DR-CAFTA agreement. In Chapter Three comparative analysis the marketing and textile trade in related countries, such as CAFTA counties, America and China. Chapter Four analyzed the effects of US-DR-CAFTA RoO. At the end, gave some advice.The paper analyzed the effect of US-DR-CAFTA to the textile trade. And we can know the basis relationship between ROO and trade flow, at the same time we can estimate the influence degree of ROO. Getting the support of theory, experience and data, some useful suggestions are made to our textile trading at last.
