A Study On Multinational Business Models Of Private Enterprises In Hunan Province

This paper aims to carry out a theoretical and empirical study on the multinational business models of the private enterprises in Hunan Province.Based on the analysis of the factors which may influence the multinational business models of the private enterprises, this paper studies the decisive process and evolutive process during the implement of multinational business among private enterprises by employing the decisive matrix and investigative matrix of multinational business models. Based on the study on the multinational business situations of the private enterprises in Hunan province, this paper analyzes the possible multinational business models that private enterprises might adopt, i.e. to start foreign trade, foreign direct investment and listing of enterprise board. To make the logic and the conclusion more explicit, the paper uses case study while analyzing the evolution process and management strategies of multinational business of the biggest private enterprise in Hunan. The results support the conclusion of the paper.The paper falls into five parts.Chapter one is introduction, the background, related theories, schedule of literature study, the thread and framework of the paper are introduced. Chapter two deals with the confirmation of multinational business models. It begins with a theoretical discussion on the evolution of multinational business models of private enterprises, then it tries to construct a model based on the factors which influence multinational business of private enterprises and depicts its evolution process. It further analyzes the possible multinational business models that private enterprises might adopt and decides the multinational business models by using enterprise'maximum profit expectation model. Chapter three gives a realistic analysis of multinational business by Hunan private enterprises. Based on the current development and the multinational business situation of private enterprises in Hunan, and the comparison with other provinces like Guangdong and Zhejiang whose multinational business are better-developed, the paper seeks for the problems occurred during the process of multinational business. Chapter four discusses model selection of multinational business by private enterprises in Hunan. First, the paper analyzes the possible options of multinational business models private enterprises may have, then it gives a preliminary probe into the development trend and future selections of the multinational business models by Hunan private enterprises. By applying a case study of typical multinational business of a private enterprise in Hunan and its selective approaches of multinational business models, this paper tries to find some evidences which might support the conclusion of the study. The conclusion and suggestions for decision-making are presented in Chapter five.
