With the development of reform and opening-up in our country, the rapid progress of economical globalization, the changing sharply of the environment of enterprises, people's work- rhythm is accelerated, the social competition is becoming increasingly intense, and these changes make enterprise staff's work stress reach the unprecedented height. A series of personal physical, psychological and behavioral consequences which come from work stress are becoming more and more important factors that affect work performance. Particularities, administrative staff as their important and special roles in organizations are enduring the even more serious work stress. Therefore, there are a lot of applicable values in studying work stress and work performance to enterprise's administrative staff.Founded on the review of the previous researches, this paper constructs the index system of work stress and work performance, and then put forward the hypotheses of this paper. The paper has carried on the exploring factor analysis using SPSS13.0 to the small sample and rejected the target which is not gathered the standard in order to form the preliminary index systems. According to the analysis result it consummates the questionnaires and carries on the big sample questionnaire survey and analysis. It analyzes various targets reliability by using SPSS to further enhance the questionnaire target validity. Then it use LISREL8.7 to do the confirmation factor analysis and has carried on the detailed confirmation and analysis to various factors model fitting, finally we conclude that sources of work stress of administrative staff is formed by two kinds of factors of extrinsic stress and intrinsic stress, two stress source are independent, and there is an inverse linear correlation between the extrinsic stress and work performance., a positive correlation between the intrinsic stress and work performance.This paper is an empirical study on work stress and work performance of managers in enterprises. At present, these empirical studies are in exploring stage. The index system of work stress and work performance, their relation is still at the stage of theoretic exploration. This paper prove the impact on work performance of enterprise's administrative staff's work stress by empirical study on the basis of studying the theory in the past, it has offered very good reference to the organizational management especially human resources management, offered the theory and real empirical study to stress management and work performance in managers of the enterprises.
