A Study Of Technological Standardization In Chinese New High-Tech Enterprises

In knowledge economy era, with the development of technical competition intothe field of high technology, the bond between standardization and high technology isgradually tightened. Especially after China joined the WTO, Chinese market would befully open to the world; Chinese high technology enterprises would experience anoverall market impact. Questions like how we could select and establish technicalstandard system that suites characteristic of high technology enterprises, improve theadvancement of technological standardization of high technology enterprises, thusboost their competitiveness has been brought into our attention.In this paper, based on expounding of the standardization and its relativedefinitions, the concept, effectiveness and substance of standardization, we disclosethe system theory and process theory of standardization. A discussion of thedifference in the characteristics and special requirement towards technologicalstandardization between high technology enterprises and normal enterprises is given.A further analyzes of the current situation of technological standardization andpossible improvement on some of the problems of Chinese high technologyenterprises is presented.With the foundation of above research, we try to construct the technical standardsystem of high technology enterprises. The work system of technologicalstandardization is discussed in this paper: the organizational Form of standardizationis shown; based on the process of product implementation, system operation model isbuilt up, which further explained the establishment, enforcement and valuation oftechnological standards from the aspects of dissertation raised in R&D, productionand sales stage of product. Especially, aimed at the importance of the research in high technology enterprises, a form of standardization, "quasi-technology standard", isproposed. At the end of this paper, three essential tasks which related closely totechnological standardization are also expounded. In addition, successful examples ofapplications of above research results in enterprises are also given in this paper.
