Enterprise Performance Evaluation is a very important means what managers run theirenterprises by. It actively works on evaluating managers' performance and clerks' performance.We must pay more attention to it, especially when our country is transforming enterprises intojoin-stock ones to improve our economy. Presently, scholars have lots of disputes aboutEnterprise Performance Evaluation, such as: financial target and un-financial target which one isbetter; how to optimize system of Performance Evaluation indices. I studied a great deal ofpapers on Enterprise Performance Evaluation. For putting forward to a good methods to evaluateenterprise performance, I want to compare those Performance Evaluation means particularlybetween EVA and BSC.This dissertation is composed of 6 chapters. The topic of the first and the second chaptersis reviewing and summing up the theories, contents, methods about Enterprise PerformanceEvaluation. The topic of the third chapter is to introduce the traditional Performance Evaluationmeans and sum up the shortage of it. The fourth chapter is to introduce the EVA and BSCrespectively in detail. The first part of this chapter is to introduce EVA with a detailed exampleabout an enterprise. The second part is to introduce BSC with another enterprise exampleincluding from strategy fixing to indices designing and check the efficiency of BSC. The thirdpart is to compare the respective advantages and disadvantages between EVA and BSC. The fifthchapter is to sum up this dissertation and put forward to prospect about this field.The dissertation is to analyze the practical ways of EVA and BSC systematically. In orderto evaluate the whole enterprise performance, I study the EVA and BSC in two enterprises fromthe points of investors and managers.
