An Implementation Solution Of ERP System Using Improved Technology Acceptance Model

ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), integrating modern management thoughts and information technology, has quite enhanced enterprise's competence and been focus of people's concern. In China, the applying field of ERP has boomed from industry of mechanism to medicine, chemical, aeronautics and astronautics. More and more companies have implemented ERP system, but performance of system didn't achieve anticipation, even some failing reports were heard. In order to solve problems in the process of implementation of ERP system, circles manage to find answers concentrated on technology and implementation plans, rather than views of users' acceptance.From perspective of behavior science and psychology, this paper introduced mature Social Cognitive Theory to explain, trace and predict user's behavior toward ERP system, trying to suggest new thoughts and ways for manager in process of system implementation. According to relative theories of behavior science and psychology, we presented an improved Technology Acceptance Model, and validated it by empirical study, offering prototype plan of implementation of ERP system.
