Building a new socialist countryside is a new object in the new era under the new background which brought by our Communist Party, and the new requirements of China's economic and social development. This paper analyses the basic concept of building a new socialist countryside, and put forward the ways to build it.To achieve the goal of building a new countryside, we must first understand the basic concepts of building a new countryside. Above all, we must understand its meaning. The term of new socialist countryside is that, under the socialist system, the rural social economic development takes the countryside's economic development as foundation, and the social progress as a symbol of social status. Fourth, to improve farmers'quality. The new countryside should be with new houses, new facilities, new environment, new farmers, and the new style of practice. Only rural political civilization, the development of material and spiritual civilizations all developed, we can take it into new socialist rural areas. Second, it is necessary to understand the basic principles that should be adhered to building a new countryside. Namely: the principle of taking economic construction as the central task; Conditions; People-centered principle; Resource conservation principles. Finally, we must recognize the significance of building a new countryside.Building a new countryside is to implement the scientific concept of development, is the need to build a harmonious society. Comprehensively building a well-off society is an important measure is to co-ordinate development of urban and rural areas to achieve common prosperity in the fundamental way. The proposal on the goal of building a new socialist countryside is on sufficient basis.
