A Study On The Location Of Rural Logistic Centers

Accompanyig the development of market economy in china, it is essential and practicable to establish the rural logistics system. And the locating of the rural logistics centers is the key problem in the rural logistics system. So it is very important both in theory and practice to make a thorough study on location problem of rural logistic centers. Based on the theory of logistics, ecnomics, managemet and operational reseach, this thesis tries to make detailed theoretical and empirical studies on the conception, fuction, and location decision-making of rural logistic centers, and so on.The main cotents of this dissertation are follows:This paper first analyses the profile of rural logistics briefing, followed by the overall expounding of logistics centers for rural connotation, function and so on. Based on it this article gives a constrained analysis for the rural location of the logistics centers processes, goals, impact factors site selection and site costs. At last, this article establishes model of site selection basing on the principle, procedure and method as given with numerical examples. The choice of method of rural logistics center location is the focus content of the paper. Various methods of Logistics center location study have been formed which can be broadly divided into two categories: qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative methods evaluate the program in connection with the AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, then identify the optimal location. we also used this method to analyse the qualitative indicators. Quantitative method consists of continuous and discrete model. Continuous model is representative of the center of gravity method and crossvalue method. Kuehn-Hambuger model and Baumol-Wolfe model are discrete models . In the evaluation quantitative indicators, this paper constructs cost model and interests model under the general rural and third-party logistics centers with using heuristics and genetic-algorithm for doing it. Qualitative Methods in the considerations on the completeness have a certain advantage, but the accuracy of quantitative indicators of the target cost and benefits are inadequate; quantitative methods are on the contrast. So this system johns qualitative and quantitative methods through the creation of the indicators system and the use of the indicators satisfaction algorithm for complying each other in the rural areas of logistics center location accuracy and completeness, and for providing scientific support to the rural logistics center location decision.
