China's ready-mixed concrete industry has developed more than 20 years, the number of the enterprises has got to 2,000, and most of them developed well. There is still a certain gap between Chengdu and some of the more advanced cities in the ready- mixed concrete industry, but from the overall perspective, there's more opportunity than threat.We should also note that the ready-mixed concrete enterprises belong to low technology content industry, and they occupy a large portion of funds. Thus the natural market threshold is not high, the other enterprises could easily enter this industry and will make the competition getting more intense.There are multinationals outside and more powerful enterprises in the eastern regions, they may also have greater access to the Chengdu's ready-mixed concrete market which now also have greater room for development.Prepared for danger in times of peace, before long. This is also the main idea of this paper, the motivation of writing, and significance.At first, this paper analyzed the current situation of the industry which the CX company belongs to, based on the introducing of the company's basic situation. Then analyzed the macroeconomic environment of the CX company, making full use of the enterprise competitiveness theories such as the classical competition theory of Adam Smith, Marx's theory of competition, the competitive equilibrium theory and some modern competition theories, and PEST analysis method and its ideology, meanwhile analyzed the competitive environment in which the CX company located by using Michael Porter's Five-force Model and its ideological.According to the results of the analysis, this paper note independently that the current favorable market environment can not go on forever. When the market is saturated or become shrinking, those enterprises which do not prepare and do not ready full will be eliminated first.In addition, combined the specific circumstances of the CX company I put forward to the following competition Countermeasures: (1) The key countermeasure is "Pre-emptive attack as a means of defense"; (2) It's related to the overall situation to step up the training of qualified personnel;(3) To strengthen marketing and planning; (4) To pay attention to quality control;(5) To foster firmly the awareness of service;(6) It's the foundation to strengthen internal management; (7) Always pay close attention to the industry information, and so on.
