The Study On The R&D Organization's Location Choosing By Technology-Based Enterprises

As it is accepted and fulfilled that science and technology is the primary productivity in age of knowledge economy by the world today, the technology-based enterprise plays an important role in the economic development and construction of innovation system in one country. The research and development (R&D for short) organizations are the main innovation bearers in technology-based enterprises, which act as the main innovation bearers in a country's innovation system. Therefore, the development of R&D organization matters a lot to technology-based enterprises.Macroscopically speaking, the structure of a national economy is one kind of space framework. To attract more R&D investment, we need to make clear all the facts that affect an organization of R&D's location and arrange our own resources reasonably. Microscopically speaking, an enterprise's location affects the profit and future development to a great extent. Meanwhile, the location of R&D organization influences the ability of R&D and the output, and further the prospects of a technology-based enterprise. Therefore, the research on R&D organization's location not only promotes the realization of enterprise's market goals, but also benefits the improvement of productive efficiency by guiding regional technological resources to the best deployment.This paper starts from theories concerned and analyzes the location of R&D organization overseas and home of technology-based enterprise from aspects of economics, politics, society and culture based on the specific features it has, and then throw out the location choosing patterns of R&D organizations in technology-based enterprises. In addition, since the similarity between elements affecting the location choosing of R&D organization and indexes expressing the integrate economy competitiveness of provinces to some extent, the paper gives out the relationship analysis between them and draws a conclusion that the integrate economy competitiveness of a province is the first consideration when choosing the location of a domestic R&D organization for a technology-based enterprise simply.
