Manufacturing enterprises have already developed extensively to a significant scale in China. However there is still a big gap of the manufacturing capability compared with developed countries. In addition to the reason of lower development and research capabilities, the insufficient information technology usage in manufacturing environment is also a major factor. which handicapped the efficiency and effecitiveness of resources distribution and technology applications. In order to be competent in the world, we must improve our information management. In recent years, ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system as a way of improving enterprise information management has been accepted, and the introduction of ERP as an advanced management tool and ideas has become an only choice. ERP is the hybrid of advanced management ideas and information technology, and it stands for the highest level of the current integrated enterprise management software system. With ERP system support, enterprise materials, information, cash, and work flows can be managed in an integrated way to bring in an optimized resource allocation. Furthermore, to a certain degree, ERP system implementation also needs and forces the renovations in business processes, product development patterns and design ideas, based on this a contemporary enterprise management system based on cooperated commercial patterns could be built up.Twenty-one century, China economy is more and more fast blending in international market,as Chinese main base and engine vehicle fittings manufacture factory,developing TONGCHE Company of BEICHE Group is faced with fury challenge.First this thesis summarizes worldwide ERP study achievements, analyzes the problems which exist in manufacturing enterprise information processes, and indicates the necessity for further study on ERP application implementation method system in China. Discusses the backgrounds of manufacturing enterprises, ERP concepts and characteristics, and process reengineering theories, which is the theoretical foundation for studying and problem resolving in the thesis. The implementation of ERP system is a very complicated and systematic job, and it is impossible to study each issue in much details. In order to avoid this study strengthening everything, the third chapter emphasizes the key factors of a successful ERP system implementation, and the key issues deserving enough attention in implementing ERP based on the key factors. A further study on the major implementation issues is conducted at the end of this chapter. Thesis presents ERP construct aim and implement project of TONGCHE Company, study on sub-system function structure of ERP. Finally basing on manufacture corporation management and production characteristic, combining with the management and production practice of TONGCHE Company, thesis researches TONGCHE ERP system.Thesis synthetically makes use of the system theory, the business process reorganization, the key index sign system etc, researches the application of ERP in the TONFCHE Company.
