Business Process Management Based On Value Management Theory

Business Process Management (BPM) created in the needs of dealing with the variety of customers' requirements, fastening the speed of reaction and establishing persistent core competitive ability. This is a new management idea and technology way. It makes a complete change in traditional function management, mechanistic organization system.How to apply this new- management theory is a brand-new subject for Chinese enterprises. Many management professionals are still continually researching and practicing. By using the way of value analysis, under the guideline of the idea of Value Chain Management put forward by Professor Michael E. Porter, the thesis aims at enterprises business process which creates values for customers to carry out process management through a working aggregation of a system: First of all, a business must make strategic decision of process management. Second, a business needs to work out plans of business process management. Third, the key step is diagnosing and analyzing the current operation process based on idea of value chain management. We will implement optimization and redesign of BPM will make experiment and promote the reengineering of business process; evaluate the effect of BPM; form a new process management system catering for business according to the concrete situation of business so as to better guard against the risk in business process reengineering and guarantee the continuous improvement and development in BPM.This thesis finds out, analyzes and defines the business core process so as to optimize, establish, standardize and reengineer business operation process; improve the business competitive ability and promote business sustainable, steady development.
