Study On The Indicator System For Urban Forest-based Eco-Tourism Benefit

The urban forest has become the mainstream of construction with urban virescence. And tourism function of urban forest has been concerned more and more. In order to understand the impact of urban forest eco-tourism on the urban resource, environment, urban economics and social activity and to assess the development of ecotourism, it is necessary to use some indicator and techniques of assessment to do this research. Therefore, the discussion and analysis of this dissertation is based on this object.Firstly, it is very important to search and get some articles related to this topic. However, it was difficult to get articles about urban forest ecotourism directly. Most of them are something about sustainable tourism, ecotourism assessment, and assessment of impacts of tourism environment and urban tourism and forest tourism. And this dissertation discussed and analyzed the particular characteristics of urban forest ecotourism and tried to construct the particular system of assessment indicators for urban forest ecotourism, which are all based on the redirect relevant information.This system could be divided into three different classes, such as objective class, situational class and indicator class, which cover four respects of urban forest eco-tourism: resource issues, environmental issues, economic and social issues. During the selection of indicators, this dissertation used interview of experts, theory analysis and frequency analysis and so on. Also according to the principle of integrate, feasibility, science, practicality and comparativeness, this dissertation has selected 15 indicators to assess the urban forest ecotourism. Moreover, during the process of quantization of indicators, in order to investigate the trends course while using these indicators, this thesis used the increased rate and decreased rate of each indicator to be the benefit, which could understand the changing of indicators objectively. And the indicators of social benefit use the method of questionnaire and then to be quantized. To make certain reference value of each index, obtain the weights by using methods both the analytic and hierarchy process and Delphi.This dissertation used a case study of Sun Dr. Yat-Sen's Mausoleum Scenic Area. Using some data of two certain periods, the result of this research is that the synthesis benefit has been increased by 55.8% from the middle of 1980s'. And from each benefit, both the economic benefit and social benefit have increased rapidly and the resource benefit has been increased slightly. However, from the evaluation of environment, it has been deteriorating. Moreover, this result of this research inosculates with the real situation of Dr. Yat-Sen's Mausoleum Scenic Area. Therefore, it could suggest that indicator system and calculation method could reflect the synthesis benefits of tourism after the beginning the ecotourism, and then give some advices and suggestions for its future.And in the conclusion, this dissertation has suggested some recommendations to the research in the future.
