The Study On The Land Use Efficiency Of Hebei’s Cities

China has a large population with relatively little(arable) land, which is one of the basic national conditions of our country.The Per capita arable land area and per capita land resources accounts for international average level 37% and 33% respectively.our countries’ urbanization develops fast. In 1978,there were 170 million urban residents in China while730 million by 2013,and the urbanization rate reaches to 54.77%,which increases by 36.87%than that in 1978.On the one hand, with the development of urbanization level, we need more urban land, which makes that the contradiction between supply and demand of urban land has become increasingly prominent. And on the other hand, the phenomenon of extensive use of urban land is quite common, which causes much waste in land resources.And also, irrational land use can lead to vegetation destruction and environmental pollution, which causes negative effects for people’s living and producing. Therefore, for realizing the goal of sustainable development in society and economy, what we need to do first is to promote the effective use of urban land and improve the efficiency of the urban land. In recent years, with the advantageous geographical position and the influence of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Heibei province integration, Hebei province has developed fast in urbanization and industrialization.Hebei province is a major grain producing province in China while the fast urbanization makes a great threat to the security of grain in arable land.The research of the evaluation for the urban land efficiency is the main evaluation for the the level of the urban land use efficiency, an it is an important way for us to analysis rationality of the urban land use. To research the level of the urban land use efficiency in Heibei province, the thesis takes11 cities of Hebei province as the evaluation targets to make the research.The thesis includes three parts. Firstly, it explains the concerned research background,basic theories and the concepts of the urban land use and analyzes Hebei province’s land use situation from the aspects of amount structure and diversity.Secondly, it takes evaluation index of cities’ land use efficiency from the aspects of society, economy and ecology. And it makes sure index weight by variation coefficient method and count the overall scores of cities’ land use efficiency by overall index model and according to the standardized values andweight of index. And last, it analyzes the evaluation results of the urban land use efficiency and gives some concerned suggestions according to the regional spatial differences of urban land use efficiency and social benefits, economic benefits and ecological benefits of land use and the coordination degree of the three.The research results show that: from the currency of the land use, Hebei province expands fast in use of land in construction,decreases arable land and makes an obvious contradiction in land use during the process of land use. The type of the land use is various and the variety rate researches 78%. From the urban land use efficiency, Hebei province’s orders of the urban land use efficiency is like this(from high to low) Shijiazhuang, Langfang, Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Handan, Baoding, Xingtai, Cangzhou,Hengshui, Chengde and Zhangjiakou, which forms the situation that the efficiency level is high in the middle region, and low in the south and north regions. The economic efficiency accounts for the most in the urban land use efficiency which is nearly 50%. The degree of efficiency coordination is low, just Langfang and Chengde states basic coordinated level. And the thesis gives the following four suggestions according to the research results :(1) to control the scale of the new industrialized land an protect the arable land.(2) to transfer the way of the land use and improve the ecology efficiency of the land use.(3) to activate the urban land resource and improve the level of intensive use of land.(4) to promote uniform registration of real estate and improve the land management level.
