Research On Relationship Of Organizational Characteristics And Level Of Intellectual Capital Of List Companies

In the era of knowledge economy, the most valuable resource of the enterprise isnot the traditional financial capital, but one emerging capital-intellectual capital.Intellectual capital is not only the key factor that enterprise obtains the advantage ofthe sustainable competition, but also the main driving factor of innovation and profitgrowth of enterprise in the future. Hence, the research and application of intellectualcapital is increasing in last few years, both theoretical scholar and the operator in theenterprise are to set about paying more attention in concerning the evaluation andmanagement of intellectual capital.With the development of science and technology, especially in the field of ITand biology technology, the economy form has witnessed the transition from theindustry times developed into knowledge economy times, the competition betweenthe countries also has transferred the materiality into the immateriality, thecompetition between intelligence and technology, the level of the technology andknowledge in the products became the base and the key of the competition. Theknowledge has replaced the capital, land and material has become the most importantcapital. The intellectual capital is the most decisive factor in the knowledge economy.The countries and the enterprises all take messures to scrabble and develop theintellectual capital.So the intellectual capital has become the key of the competitionin the economy knowledge. Since the first intellectual capital report of Skandia firmin 1994, there is a fast development in the theory and application of intellectualcapital.Through the results of previous researches, intellectual capital, as a special formof capital, the property of which determine the associated relationship with the characteristics of organization in the enterprise. On the basis of foreign advancedresults in the intellectual capital researches, related to the current situation in ourcountry, author makes a research on the intellectual capital level of the listed firmsand the relationship of organization characteristics of enterprise, analyzing the effectof the expressing index of organization characteristics of enterprise on the level ofintellectual capital in the enterprise, providing a clear direction for the effectiveevaluation and management of intellectual capital in the enterprise of our country.Author makes a research on the relationship of the level of enterpriseintellectual capital and organizational characteristics in following points:1．Making a research on the basic theory of intellectual capital, which is to set afoundation for the definition, demonstrate the generation and the development andthe popular schools in enterprise capital theory. Furthermore, generalizing thecharacterized methods of intellectual capital and making a theoretical base forpractical study.2．Demonstrating and analyzing the basic foundation of the property ofenterprise organization characteristics, furthermore, the paper uses the method--Tobin's q method to evaluate the level of enterprise intellectual capital and the reasonand feasibility on the usage of this method.3．Base on the practical study, analyzing the relationship between intellectualcapital level and enterprise organization characteristics. Author uses the financialindex, non-financial index to describe the related indexes of the sample withdescriptive statistics analysis,correlate analysis,multi-factors regression analysis andso on, and try to get the multi-index relationship between intellectual capital leveland enterprise organization characteristics.There are several methods applied in my research, the oretical study combined with the realistic study, qualitative analysis combined with quantitative analysis, andbibliography study and comparison.The innovation of the paper is:1．Defining the concept of intellectual capital and organizational characteristics,then analyzing the association on them through the their respective characteristics.2．Through the analysis methods, correlate analysis and multi-factors regressionanalysis, quantifying the relationship between the intellectual capital andorganizational characteristics in the listed firms of our country.
