Supply Chain Model With Demand Disruptions

The competition in the 21st century, is not only between enterprises, but also between supply chains. If enterprises in the supply chain want to be highly competitive, the supply chain must be made to have competitive edge first. Robust collaboration means not only profitable business, but also sharing of resources and common strategies. So, how to make the supply chain competitive is particularly important. For this purpose, in this thesis, we study supply chain model with disruptions to improve the supply chain competition.This research is based on forecast theory, supply chain theory, supply chain management theory and optimization theory. The research methods include model analysis, numeral analysis and so on.After deep analyzing in supply chain model, we give our attention to the supply chain of one-supplier and one-retailer. We are particularly interested in the supply chain coordination for the case where demand disruption occurs. We consider several cases of demand disruption. In each case, we give an optimal quantity discount policy so that the total profit of the supply is maximized. We also do numerical simulation to test our model. The results show that the result in the thesis accordance with practice, which shows the research is meaningful in practice.
