The Coordination Mechanism Analysis Of Supply Chain By Contracts Under Disruption

In order to effectively manage the supply chain and enable the supply chain to performthe best integral function, it is requested that every entity in supply chain and its activitiesin the function should cooperate with each other in high-level coordination way. Beingone of the important coordination mechanisms for supply chain, it has become a veryimportant problem in supply chain management, and it has also been drawn more andmore attention by science and enterprises fields. In recent years, mechanic research onsupply chain contracts has been developed rapidly and deeply because of the hugeinfluence on supply chain coordination by frequent disruptions.Based on former research, the paper researches supply chain coordination by contractsunder disruptions. The structure of supply chain is expanded to three-level supply chainfrom two-level supply chain. The research contents of the dissertation can be concludedas follows:1) For the coordination problem of two nodes in supply chain between one manufacturerand one retailer, based on the concerned literature research, it studies how the quantitydiscount contract, the price discount contract and revenue sharing contract coordinate thesupply chain when the disruption change the market scale. Under the quantity discountcontract, it considers the coordination of centralized decision-making and decentralizeddecision-making. Meanwhile, it takes the channel coordination of centralizeddecision-making as criterion that tests the effective of improved coordination mechanismunder disruption. By setting up model of supply chain, calculating the whole profit andcomparing the profit before disruptions with the one after disruptions, it works out thequantity discount contract and the price discount contract with anti-disruption-ability.2) Based on two-level supply chain coordination research, the paper expands to thecoordination problem of three nodes in supply chain among one supplier, onemanufacturer and one retailer. In virtue of the tool of MATLAB, it numerically analyzesparameters of the wholesale price, retail price, buy-back price and order quantity. Itdiscusses how to coordinate the supply chain under disruption by the quantity discountcontract and the price discount contract. It also analyzes the distribution of profit amongthe entities. Finally, it gives an application by simulation.
