Construction Of The Rural Pension Insurance System Of Our Country

Since the reform and open policy was established for more than 20 years, theeconomic system of China reform have already accomplished the basic transformfrom planned economy to market economy as a historic turn, the construction ofsociety guarantee also make breakthrough. However, the problems trapping Chineseeconomy to develop further, such as the problems of agriculture, villages and farmersand the problems of the improvement of social guarantee, are still very outstanding.Nowadays, along with the population advancing age and the rapid urbanization of ourcountry, the function of traditional rural endowment insurance descends, but thesocial pension insurance system is a new guarantee system, which still needs a furtherimprovement. Therefore, lacking of large pension insurance system in the region ofChinese village has become a serious problem hindering economic development ofthe villages and the whole social which need to be solved.This article studies systematically the rural pension insurance system in term ofsystem innovation. On the background of the transitional economy, the paper regardsthe rural market economy as the starting point, and studies systematically the ruralpension insurance system on the basis of the existing theories and summarizing theyears practice of rural old-age pension system, using the beneficial theoretical andpractical experience of rural pension insurance system in other countries as reference.Combing the current situation of the rural pension insurance system, the study focuson the economic feasibility of implementing the pension insurance system in Chineserural areas in an all-round way, and also puts forward a new thought and scheme ofestablishing the rural pension insurance system in China. The author hopes to offertheoretical foundation and reference for the establishment of single pension insurancesystem for both urban and suburb areas.
