Empirical Study On Relationship Of Regional Logistics And Regional Economy

There is a kind of relation of mutual promotion between regional logistics and regional economy. When the economy acquires deep development, it will bring about huge need for logistics industry, promoting the industries about logistics. In the meantime, the development of logistics industry lowers economical cost, changes the growth method of regional economy, and promotes regional economic of sustainable development. Informatization is the base of the relation, namely the information technique support the operation of modem logistics, making the interactive development possible.In the former research on the relation of logistics and the economy, each variable is generally time sequence data. But when time sequences involved are non-stationary, it usually results in spurious regression.In the purpose of this study is to examine the long-run relation between regional logistics and economy. We consider a new method, panel cointegration that data sets contain not only time series also cross sections, to re examine the relationship between regional logistics and economy, to re-examine the promotion of informatization to regional logistics and economy. Conclusively, the results of cointegration relationships exist between regional logistics and economy by applying panel cointegration model. And the promotion of informatization to regional logistics and economy is proved.
