Nowadays, there are many experts and scholars paying attention to the theories and assessing methods about customer satisfaction. And they have already got certain achievements. However, Focus on CS of recreation business district is little.As tourism business in city booms, RBD takes more and more important role in the development of city economy. How to enlarge the tourism market, to get steady customers becomes a new focus of tourism study. Steady customers come from loyal customers, which results from customer satisfaction. The higher customer satisfaction level is, the higher there loyalty's. Measuring the customer satisfaction in RBD has been an important content about RBD theory and practice study.Under this background, this text takes Beijing as an example and makes some preliminary surveys and researches.Firstly, the author explains the background of the study on RBD customer satisfaction, recalls the development about customer satisfaction study at home and abroad and points out that CS is a sort of sensibility and reaction to the goods or services in a special time.According to the comparatively analysis of the basic RBD theory at home and abroad, the author brings forward a new cognition to the conception of the RBD: the RBD is a business district in the city, which is concentrated with tourism and business resources .it takes the local citizens and the tourists as its customers and supplies them with all kinds of services such as tourism, recreation, shopping and so on. Different with other city destinations on customer behaviors, source compositions and function, the RBD has characteristics of diversification and convergence. After working on the references and the development of RBD, the author figures out that RBDCS is affected by many factors such as the customer, the function of the RBD, management and so on. And then it has speciality in structures indicators like customer loyalty, customer value, quality apperceive.The author sums up the methods of constructing and parameters estimating in CSI models. Considering the characteristics of the RBDCS, the author makes up the model of the RBDCS. In the model, he brings in a new structure facto -RBD image, expands the factor customer value into five factors like shopping, traffic and recreation.On the combination of theoretical research, the author designs this survey and using the software of SPSS, LVPLS and so on, takes statistical analysis to the data collected, parameter estimation and verification of the model. And relying on customer satisfaction data summarized in the survey, the author points out that the new structure factor RBD image is reasonable, the RBDCS model has a high score in good- of- fitness, and then gets the model characteristics and something about the CS of Beijing.According to the findings in the survey, the RBD in Beijing is not good at foundation,consuming structure and so on. For improving customer satisfaction ,seizing the chance of the holding of Olympics, enhancing the overall competitiveness of the capital RBD, the author brings forward some proposals that on the guide of the government the RBD could be improved in image building, source collocating, building up a service sense of"customer first"and so on.
