Study On Manufacturing Industry Cooperation Between Fujian And Guangdong

Regional economy cooperation is the hot problem that scholars have paid close attentionto all the time. Base on past researches, base on the theories of economic geography andregional economics, base on modern world economic-situation, especially sinceGuangdong and Fujian put forward development strategy of "Pan-Pearl River Delta" and"the West of the Straits Economic Zone" respectively, the paper tries to study on how tostrengthen regional economic integration between Fujian and Guangdong. With point tomanufacturing industry cooperation, this paper analyses the necessity, feasibility(cooperation foundation and realistic background) and cooperation strategy for min-yuemanufacturing industry cooperation. The emphasis of this paper as follows: First of all, Ianalyze the importance of manufacturing industry cooperation in regional economycooperation, review the foundation and successful example (Yangtze Delta Area) ofmanufacturing industry cooperation; then I analyze the necessity of manufacturingindustry cooperation between Fujian and Guangdong, Cooperate in helping to avoid themalignant competition of area, foster the competition advantage of manufacturingindustry, promote the regional competitiveness. Third, with the methods of BCG Matrix, Ianalyze the level and the structure of manufacturing industry of the two provinces, thereis essential and possible condition of manufacturing industry cooperation between Fujianand Guangdong. In the last part, I put forward some substantial cooperation strategies fortheir cooperation in future. The purpose of this research wants to explain the internalrelationship of the manufacturing between the two provinces and offer decision-makingreference for further promoting the cooperation of manufacturing industry between Fujianand Guangdong.
