With the continuing development of the market economy, competition is very intense among enterprises. To obtain more sale shares and improve market competition, credit sale is used widely by enterprises.However, as a "double-edged sword", credit sale brings not only profit, but also huge risk to the enterprise. For long, the serious outstanding payment among enterprises, the massive expiry receivable accounts and the massive bad debts have swallowed the anticipated profit of enterprises. Therefore, how to avoid and reduce credit risk and to enhance receivable accounts turnover ratio and to decrease the bad debts ratio, have already become a question which many enterprises need to solve urgently.Firstly, based on the thorough understanding of credit risk and credit risk management theories, this text analyzes the present situation of Chinese enterprises credit risk management and finds that the main reason of generating credit risk is laggard risk management. In order to improve the situation of lagged enterprises credit risk management level, this article is based on the difficulties and the key questions of solving enterprise credit risk management. Using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, the text elaborates and researches credit risk management comprehensively according to the process of credit sale. The text applies Potter's value chain analysis method to credit risk management, to construct credit risk management value chain, and discusses elementary theory and management technology of credit risk management. Hope that this research would be helpful to raise enterprises credit management level, increasing commercial credit utilization, promoting enterprises development and social credit system construction.
