The present high turnover of hotel employees has become a major concern of hotel managers. And there is medium or high inverse correlation between staff satisfaction and the outflow tendency. Therefore, managers must enhance employees' satisfaction to detain the talented person in the hotel.This thesis takes staffs in Guangzhou star-hotels as an example for the purpose of discussing on its employees' satisfaction dimension and the influence. For achieving the aim, this study adopts the supposition deductive method and develops a local questionnaire first. Through carrying on the random sampling investigation in 14 star-hotels in Guangzhou, the author analyzes the data with the aid of methods in SPSS11.5 software, such as factor analysis, correlation analysis, variance analysis, regression analysis. And according to the investigation results, the research confirms the five dimensions in star-hotels employees' satisfaction, including the satisfaction of the work itself, the leader relationship, the work reward, the colleague relationship and the work background, and tests the hypothesises.The findings indicate that the employees' satisfaction does not have remarkable difference in biographical characteristics such as the age, gender, education level and length of tenure in Guangzhou star- hotels; the sequence of the influence degree of five independent variables is ranked by the work itself, the leadership relations, the work reward, the work background, the colleague relationship. The significance to management lies in that the hotel manager can enhance the employees' satisfaction through designing the work systemically, employing the appropriate candidates, providing the systemic training, improving the wages treatment and paying a great attention to professional plan.
