Employee turnover has become a prevalent phenomenon in market economy, foreigninvestment enterprises are included. Prevent employee from leaving out of enterprise isantiquated, critical of the problem is to reduce employee turnover and to bring downemployee turnover risks with powerful steps. This treatise analyzes the reasons of employeeturnover risks in foreign investment enterprise according to its staffs characteristics, and putforward some proposal.On one side, the relations between employee and enterprise are conflicting andcooperation, each of them chase their own interest maximum, it is the original reason ofemployee turnover risk. Employee in foreign investment enterprises always with higheducation, high-calibre and high ideal, it determines they have steep demands with theenterprise, but foreign investment enterprises can't provide unimpeded vocationaldevelopment, the union underplays its role, salary distribute are unfair, culture conflicts stillexist, many reasons lead to employees' lack of sense of belonging and loyalty, andmacro-environment makes employee face more opportunities and choices, so externalconditions are supplied and employee turnover risks are resulted. On the other side, theenterprises can't identify which employee will leave and when they will leave, there is noenough time to deal with the effect of employee turnover and to reduce employee turnovercost, the employee turnover risks will increased.Based on the analysis, the treatise brings forth some suggestions to reduce employeeturnover risks, these suggestions derided into three parts, they are Risk Diversification, RiskAvoidance and Risk Control. Various employments and valid employee turnover system coulddiversify employee turnover risks, change employee introduce ideas, widely identificationwith corporate culture, rational employment contract and employee turnover alarm systemcould prevent employee turnover risks from occurring, loose employee turnover culture,friendly relations with left employees in long time and scientific operation flow could reduceemployee turnover risks after employee turn over, these measures could minimum employeeturnover risks if they were carried out in turn and cooperated.
