Research On Mutual Relationship Between Airport Economic Zone And Regional Economic Development

In the view of regional economy, Airport Economic Aone(AEZ)is a new functional zone, which does not have mature study model to be followed. This paper mainly uses the theories of regional economics, industrial economics and economic geography, and on the base of integrating research achievements both home and abroad to study the AEZ. Beside that, it also attempts to analyze the mutual relationship between the AEZ and regional economy, to provide theoretical sustain for the programming, construction and development of Chinese AEZs.Firstly, this paper reorganizes the representative research achievements in the aspects of theoretical elements, study contents, research methods and approaches; Secondly, it concludes the spatial structure, industries development, functional distribution and evolvement rule of AEZ; Then, on the base of related theories of AEZ, analyzes the mutual relationship and mechanism between the AEZ and regional economy both in the macro and micro perspectives; Finally, through the case study of BeiJing ShunYi AEZ, it discusses the performance and relationship between ShunYi AEZ and regional economy, and proposes some advice to avoid potential risk of ShunYi AEZ development.The relationship between AEZ and regional economy is mutual. The development of AEZ depend on the development of regional economy, the development of regional economy also restrict by the development of AEZ, the relationship between the two is both accelerate and restrict by each other. It is necessary for the government, which of cause being the guide and adjuster of AEZ, to program and guide the direction of AEZ development. Reasonable program and regulate and control can minimize the potential risk in the process of AEZ development, and assure the sustainable development of AEZ.
