In the background of Capital Airport’s slowing throughput growth and Shunyi airport economic zone’s slowing GDP growth, the paper proposes the research of interactive development of Capital Airport and Shunyi airport economic zone.Firstly, the paper analyzes Capital Airport’s current situation from three aspects, passenger and cargo throughput, income structure, passenger structure and satisfaction. The paper analyzes Shunyi airport economic zone’s development through GDP changes, space layout and industry positioning. Then, through correspondence analysis of Capital Airport and Shunyi airport economic zone, the paper sums up the path and evolution mechanism of interactive development.Secondly, the paper uses gray relational method to analyze the interactive development of Capital Airport and Shunyi airport economic zone, and establishes a gray relational model concerning passenger throughput, cargo throughput, total aircraft movements and GDP of Shunyi airport economic zone. From2006to2009, the relevancy degree increased year by year, but after2010, it decreased apparently.Furthermore, the paper uses Shift-Share Method to study industry structure evolution of Shunyi airport economic zone, referring to Beijing’s integrated, diversified economy. Though deviation degree, the paper finds out the weaker industries and specific adjustment content and direction. The weaker industries are financial services, business services, health care and culture and entertainment. The restraining factors include management system, planning policies, high-end industries shortage and public services lag.Finally, the paper proposes improvement program to solve public services lag, and high-end oriented blocked. It aims at a comprehensive, diversified and featured airport and economic area. The measures include international passenger expansion of Capital Airport, improvement of rail transportation, establishment of shopping centers and healthcare centers. Also the paper proposes several important policies and management system corresponding to the interactive development of Capital Airport and Shunyi Airport Economic Zone.
