DM has developed at a fast rate in our country, and has grown into an industry , which is presented in various forms with the development of technology of media. Although it appears to be a kind of industry enjoying prosperity, the investors of DM take huge risks. The reason for this phenomenon lies in their vague understanding towards DM.As a way for advertising, DM has existed in Suzhou for a long time; however, it has not yet become a real advertising media. It develops fast, but is quite hard to develop into a large scale. Presently, DM press is the major form in Suzhou DM industry, which generally signifies of the current situation and the standards of DM industry in Suzhou market. This thesis does a research on several Suzhou DM presses, comparing one to another, analysing them, and making a conclusion of their own feature respectively. On the ground of detailed analyses, this article tries to conclude out basic philosophies and key values of DM。Through its research on DM, this thesis concludes that ads are valuable information. The reason for its current dilemma situation is that inappropriate ads are spread to false recipients at an suitable time and place, and thus to provide improving suggestions for dealing with problems existing in Suzhou DM market and tactics for its development. Thus, this article tries to provide suggestions for dealing with problems existing in Suzhou DM market and tactics for its development in the future.
