Study On The Development Patterns And Development Countermeasures Of Tourism Education Industry In The Knowledge-based Economy Era

Content: The emergence of a new concept usually scribes the changing of ages. The arising of knowledge-based economy is not artificial to invert, but the result of a human material and spiritual civilization with the highly developed. The knowledge-based economy is not only a kind of informationalizational integration economy; what is more, it is an educational economy. The knowledge-based economy decided the conception and action change of education. The education enriched the knowledge meaning of economy developing.In 1996, APEC definitely defined "the knowledge-based economy" for the first time, and pointed out that it was a continuable developing economy with the support of high tech industry and intelligence resource. From then on, the knowledge-based economy brought most profound influence to education. As a base cultivating the creative talented, a source producing new knowledge, a cradle creating the new thought, education will gradually become the increase pole and powerful engine of the new economy to the development of society. The knowledge economy era radically reformed the traditional conception of knowledge, value and investment for human beings. Then people need to understand the education again in a new background.According to this background, firstly, based on discussing the historical background, the connotation and extension and the characteristics of education industry and tourism education, this paper has put forward the definition of tourism education industry. The education development and the running of tourism industry will combine to foreground the character and characteristics of tourism education industry. It will also discuss the industry attribute and patterns of tourism education on the economy point of view. Secondly, based on appraising and expatiating the investigation actuality and development course of the theory of education industry and tourism education both at home and abroad, the paper elucidates the foreground and necessity of tourism education industry development. Thirdly, the paper introduces the conception and era character of knowledge economy from the New Economy in America and points out that tourism education has important meaning and effect to impel the tourism economy development in the knowledge economy era. In addition, compared national and international tourism education industry, it puts forward the patterns, mostly problem and trend in the development of our country's tourism education industry.
