Study On The Relationship Of Xinjiang Tourism Education And Tourism Industry Development

As an important factor in promoting economic development in the region, atpresent, tourism has become the most important content of country’s open economy.To get the rapid development of tourism, need high-qualified professionals. As anintellectual guarantee of development of tourism industry, tourism education seeexploiting and training professionals for tourism market as its technical goal,meanwhile, tourism industry guides and promotes the development of tourismeducation. In1988, Xinjiang Normal University became the first college set uptourism major in our region, developed from nothing, with the rapid development ofthe tourism industry tourism education is getting large, scale, supporting role for thetourism development industry has become prominent increasingly. Although TourismEducation is opened late, has made tremendous contributions for training a largenumber of talented people for tourism industry. As the main activity of trainingprofessionals in tourism industry, the Tourism Education has been paid more andmore attention by government, tourism organization and education sector. Tourismteaching is different by different levels of education and training objectives. TourismIndustry and Tourism Education promote mutual development, cannot be separatedfrom each other, however, on the Xinjiang Economic "pillar industry" construction,Development problems between them would seriously affect the future developmentof the tourism market. Based on the actual development of our region, conducted asystematic analysis, trough using Normalization method to analyze coordinateddevelopment relationship between tourism industry and tourism education inXinjiang, put forward some existing problems. Specific problems that exist incoordinating development between tourism industry and tourism education aregovernment coordination is not prominent, less adjustment between needs of tourismindustry and education structure, lack of cooperation between Tourism enterprisesand tourism institutions, imbalance of supply and demand between tourism industryand tourism education, weak education links. Based on those problems, findingproper solutions, ensuring the effectiveness of tourism education Improvements,creating a favorable environment for the stable development of the tourism industryof Xinjiang，need to make variety of efforts.In the first part, is analyzed the background reason of subject, research situation athome and abroad, and descript the research methodology and subject content. In thesecond part, through methods, such as practice survey, interview, gets access to information about Tourism education, describes the aspects like situation of Tourismfaculties in Xinjiang, education level, curriculum provision, teacher level, putforward problems and solutions existing in the development of tourism education. Inthe third part, through the network questionnaire survey, practice investigation, fieldinvestigation, interviews and other methods, in-depth to tourism scenic area and hotel,collecting the related data, analyze the current situation of Xinjiang tourism industry.In the fourth part, collecting data of representative indicators of tourism industry,applying the normalized processing method, making a radar chart by calculatedresults, confirms the Interactive coordinated development of the tourism industry andtourism education, analyze the problems existing in the coordinated development ofXinjiang tourism education and the tourism industry. In the fifth part, put forwardcountermeasures to the development of tourism education and tourism industry.
