The Research On Six Sigma Of Project Management

Project Management, as a burgeoning branch of management study, has got broad application and development in China along with the development of Chinese economy. Whereas departures from the project objective happened frequently owing to the mistakes caused by managers themselves or the immaturity of Chinese Project management theories, which results in lots of unnecessary losses to the enterprises and the country.Six Sigma succeeded in developing and becoming highly effective enterprise flow design,rebuild and optimize method system from a kind of quality method by GE in the middle period of 1990s. Through applying Six Sigma method system in project management, can help project to improve flow ability, realize the comprehensive development of project's flow management ability and quality level.Based on researching project management and six sigma management, the thesis clearly show that project management has a whole frame of applying six sigma management. Overall, this paper carries out the following research work:first, putting forward the step and frame of applying six sigma; second, bringing forward the statistical tools of applying six sigma management in project; third, analyzing and researching cases of one anterprise implementing six sigma management, which proved that methods and technology this paper presented is useful and correct; fourth, based on researching cases, analyzing how to promote six sigma management to implement usefully from several field of project management.
