Studies Problems On The Development Of Agricultural Insurance In Our Country

Agriculture is a basic industry, at the same time it is also a weak industry. Atpresent, agriculture is in the transition developing from traditional agriculture tomodern agriculture in our country. The modernization of the agricultural infrastructureand the agricultural science and technology continuously improve, but naturaldisasters and market risks that are difficult to predict threaten the process ofagricultural development ever and again. Objectively, agricultural development needsthe agricultural insurance to transfer risks. Therefore, to establish and improveagricultural insurance system suiting the actual conditions of our country is of greatstrategic significance and practical significance that is to further enhance the ability ofagriculture to withstand natural disasters, and to ensure the stability and developmentin rural areas. In this paper, through analyzing the economics theory of agriculturalinsurance and the question of development of agriculture insurance in our country,foreign agricultural insurance experience is seriously absorbed, the rationalizationproposals of developing agricultural insurance that suits the actual conditions of ourcountry are presented.
