Qi County Meat Chicken Industry Management And Development Patternresearch

In the fifth plenary session of the sixteenth commission of CCP, the important historical task of building new socialist countryside was brought forward. The core of building new socialist countryside is developing the productivity of social labor by agricultural industrialization. The industrialization of table poultry is one of the most important parts of the industrialization in rural area. Improving the management of the industrialization of table poultry will develop the rural economy, raising the productivity of agriculture, increase the income of farmers and improve standard of living. So, how to settle the problems during the process of the industrialization of table poultry has much meaning for the development of theory and practice. In this article, based on the systematic research of the industrialization of table poultry both in China and other countries, the author summarizes the successful experience of the industrialization of table poultry in County Qi of Henan province by utilizing relative theories and methods. Industrialization of table poultry in County Qi has been developed successfully through the "subcontracting pattern". The main problems during the industrialization process are: poor management of firms; the difficult of preventing and curing epizootic diseases; lack of capital; defaulting rent; the undeveloped cost management system and lack of technological services from local government. By analyzing the reasons for above problems, advice was given for the development of industrialization of table poultry in County Qi: improving standard management, R&D and quality control system; developing dressed poultry industry; developing organizations for breeding economy cooperation; setting up epizootic diseases protective areas and improving technological services from local government departments.
