Study On Regional Economic Integration Of The Yangtze River Delta: Situation And Tendency

The Yangtze River Delta of this article study is a region which constitutes of 15 adds 1 cities, the whole Shanghai city, Suzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou,Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Nantong, Taizhou, Yangzhou,8 cities of Jiangsu province, Hangzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou,Shaoxing, Ningbo, Zhoushan, Taizhou ,7 cities of Zhejiang province. This 16 cities have the following characteristics: region neighboring; people connect intimately; culture is interlinked; economic development level is approximately close and economic resource superiority is supplementary, from this composition, the Yangtze River Delta is the typical regional economy. Presently, it has strongest synthesis strengthen, highest opening degree, most developed science, technology, education, culture and hygiene cause of our country, thus it is one of the most developing vigor and potential area of our country.First, this article carries on the discrimination between the two concepts of the regional economy and the administrative area economy, briefly analyzes the connotation and its growing meaning of the regional economic integration, then summarizes the related theory of the regional economic integration, mainly includes the regional division of labor theory, the regional relation and the opening theory, the regional economic growth and development theory.Second, from the angle of the cultural context and the economic relations between cities in the Yangtze River Delta, we separately adopt qualitative and the quantitative analysis method, analyze intrinsic condition of the regional economic integration of the Yangtze River Delta, at the same time, summary review four stages of the regional economic integration of the Yangtze River Delta, namely unloading phase(1982-1986), the quiet phase(1987-1989), the again unloading phase(1990-1999),speeding up the propulsion phase(2000-now)。Third, in view of the current hot spot of the research and the discussion about the Yangtze River Delta, we discuss the regional scope of the Yangtze River Delta systematically.
