Executive ability is becoming more and more important at present. The book of "Executive - the Discipline of Get Things Done" was sold very well all over the world, which reflects that poor executive ability is still common in all the enterprises and leads to large cost wasting and overstaffed.Chinese hotel industry is the first field opened to international management after opening and reform. According to the forecast of the World Tourism Organization, China will receive 1.37 hundred million tourists in 2020, which will promote the development of Chinese hotel industry. But after more than 20 years, most of Chinese hotels are faced to problems. Chinese hotels have deluxe decoration and facilities, without good economic benefit, guest satisfaction and employee satisfaction. The key reason is the difference in executive ability.This thesis based on the researches of executive ability existing. Through the discourse of relative theories about executive ability, this thesis aim to put forward the construction of executive culture in hotel industry to the effective way of enhancing of its competitive strengths. Additionally, it refers to the advanced management experience of international hotels and advises the detailed measures of how to construct the executive culture of Chinese hotel industry. There are four parts: The first part introduce the background and current situation of the research; The second part made an exposition of theories about hotel industry's executive culture; The third part is so important that it provide the detailed measures of how to construct executive culture in Chinese hotel industry with the analysis of situation and reasons of lacking of executive ability. Finally, there is a summing-up of the whole thesis.
