A Comparative Study On The Core Competence Of Multinational Retailing Chain Corporation And Domestic Retailing Chain Corporation

In 2004, china carried out the promise of entering WTO, more and more multinational retailing chain corporations quickened the outstretched rhythm in secession. No matter what government or corporation, has taken the threaten of the multinational corporation's entry. At present, the way of multinational retailing chain corporation outstretch is retailing chain. This paper is based on the comparative study on the multinational and domestic retailing chain corporation, and combines with correlative theory to study how to improve the core competence of retailing chain corporation. This is of great significance to quicken the development of the domestic retailing chain corporation.Firstly, this paper concludes reference literatures, recalls back the research on the retailing chain industry, comments on the problems and deficiency still existing in them. Secondly, this paper analyses the principle of the retailing chain theory and introduces the retailing chain running status in American and china. Then the following chapter is based on the above theory, analyses the nature and characteristics of core competence, build up the appraisement system of retailing chain core competence. Chapter four applies the appraisement system to comparing the core competence of the multinational with domestic retailing chain corporation. Finally this paper puts forward some suggestions on improving the core competence of domestic retailing chain corporation.
