The government decision-making is the core of administration, passing through the entire process of administration. The information technology, especially the application and development of network technology, has had the enormous impact on the traditional government decision-making model and china's urban government decision-making. This article tries to analyze the impact of information technology on the urban government decision comprehensively. It gives some advice to promote more scientific, democratization of decision-making and the core competencies of the city.This thesis briefly discusses the general theory of urban government decision-making and the characteristic of decision-making under the condition of information technology in the beginning. On the basis of them, we have discussed the application of information technology influences on decision information, policy-maker, decision object and affects on policy-making formulation, execution, supervision and evaluation from two angles of the static state decision elements and the dynamic state decision process. Meanwhile, it combines the cases of Qingdao which took first rank in website results and Shenzhen's decision-making to prove the development of information technology influence on urban government decision.Through the research of the information technology deeply affecting decision-making, we may realize that the information technology can enhance the quality of the government decision information, improve policy-maker's limited rationality, enhance the openness and the public participation of government decision-making process, strengthen the government decision-making execution and the supervision, and perfect the evaluation system. It provides the powerful technical support for the scientific style and the democratization of urban government decision-making.
