Human Capital Measurement Of Shandong Province And Analysis On Its Effect On Economy Growth

New economy growth theory thinks that human capital is the most important factor of economy growth. The human capital investment such as education and training, etc., is the source of long-term and durative economy growth of a country. Now, Shandong province is being at the stage of high-speed development. How to implement the durative and rapid economy growth is an urgent research issue. Therefore, it is of very important realistic significance that the real situation of human capital of Shandong province and its role in the economy growth are studied and the existing problems are found and the investment and accumulation strategy of human capital is proposed to promote the durative and rapid economy growth of Shandong province.This dissertation computes the human capital of Shandong province with quantitative economic analysis method, dynamic analysis method, correlative model research method, and the theory on human capital and economy growth. Then the course and trend of economy growth of Shandong province are studied in order to find the contribution grade and the inherent change rule of the contribution trend and to propose better strategy and advice for optimizing economic structure and promoting economic growth with human capital.This dissertation is composed of five parts. The first part is introduction, which describes the background of choosing the topic, research significance, and the research situation of human capital theory. The goal, innovation, research idea and method are showed. In the second part, the development trend of per capita educated years in our country is showed. Clustering analysis is made based on the index of per capita educated years for 31 cities. The result accords with the real situation in our country. In the third part, the computation method of human capital inventory of Shandong province is designated. In the fourth part, the function of economic growth of Shandong province is constructed, and the contribution rate of human capital to the economic growth is analyzed by the human capital external model. The human capital is decomposed, the models of production function are constructed respectively, and the contribution ratio of each index in the economic growth is obtained. The fifth part presents the main conclusions of this dissertation. The great material capital investment has promoted the economic growth of Shandong province. The human capital factor has played a greater role in the economic growth of Shandong province. The human capital inventory factor in the elementary schools and middle schools has remarkable effect on the economic growth. Then the advice of policy is proposed.
