The Application Research On The Preventative Method Of Dead Inventory In Electronic Manufacturing Industry

Dead Inventory management in electronic manufacturing industry is an important content of enterprise management. How to prevent Dead Inventory effectively directly affects the survival and development of enterprises. Enterprises need to ensure production, under the premise should reduce or avoid the Dead Inventory as far as possible, make dead losses to the minimum. The object of this paper is how to control well Dead Inventory of electronic manufacturing industry through analysis of the present status of the enterprise, identify the main reason for the high Dead Inventory: Classification unreasonable in inventory, over age work in products (WIP).Based on the analysis of raw material supplying and considering the main reason to produce Dead Inventory, the papers put forward Dead Inventory solutions: improve the existing ABC classification method based on the fund occupied, introduce multi-factors classification method based on Analytical Hierarchy Process, carry on a comprehensive classification of inventory management; Set up the Maintenance Export System to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce WIP inventory.The expert system of maintenance and multi-factors classification method that have been researched in the paper is helpful to promote maintenance efficiency and control inventory condition in the electronic manufacturing enterprise; it has the significance of model and expansion to some enterprise management.
