Multi-level fuzzy evaluation method was proposed based on AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Based on the results, spare parts classification criteria were proposed.Finally, spare parts inventory classification method considering the equipment criticality was applied to spare parts inventory management practices of No.1 Steel-making Plant of Chengde Iron and Steel Group Co. and the implementation results of the classification was discuss and the effectiveness and feasibility were demonstratea.
