The story occurred on Sang Lan let the people first time feel the sports insurance.The sport and the related industry contain the risks, and the sports insurance has the important meaning to the sport and the related industrial as a financial method which spreads the risks. The sports insurance mainly includes athlete's insurance and the sports industry insurance. The sports insurance system has become a national sports system's important component, and is playing more and more important role in sports developing process in the Western developed country. But Chinese sports insurance has a short history, and cannot adapt our country sports and he related industry development. The Beijing Olympic Games has provided the historic opportunity for our country sports insurance business' fast development, and it is very necessary to strengthen the sports insurance market research and put forward the constructive proposal to develop sports insurance market.According to the constitution elements of the sports insurance market, this thesis is to elaborate the Chinese sports insurance present situation from the demand side, the supplies side, the intermediary side and to analyze restrictive factors on Chinese sports insurance market based on insurance demand-supplies theory, and then put forward the countermeasures to develop sports insurance market. This thesis analyzes Chinese sports insurance market from six parts.The first chapter contains introduction to this paper, a brief introduction of China's background of the sports insurance development and the status of China's sports insurance, the practical significance to study sports insurance market, and the commentary to classification of domestic literature. The end part concludes the innovation and the deficiency of the paper, as well as the research method used.The second chapter mainly makes approximately the outline to the sports insurance related concept and the constitution of sports insurance market, and limits the sports insurance which in the thesis the author studies is the business insurance.Then analyzes the characters of sports insurance: widespread sociality, diversity of insurance types, high loss ratio, highly professional. These characteristics have decided the sports insurance status and significance.The content of the second chapter to the fourth chapter is the key point of the thesis. According to a complete sports insurance market is constitute of insurance applicant, the insurer and the insurance intermediary, these three chapters give an analysis on Chinese sports insurance market respectively from three aspects of the insurance applicant-supply, the insurer-demand and the insurance broker.The third chapter analyzes sports insurance market from the demand aspect. In section 1, introduces the sports insurance demand concept and points out the primary influencing factors on insurance demand, these factors including risk condition, premium rate, the price of complementary and substitute goods, income level, inflation rate, population condition, law and economic system and so on.The second and third sections are key points of this chapter. the sports insurance may divide into two kinds from the demand aspect: athletic insurance and sports industry insurance. A conclusion is drawn that there is great potential demand but insufficient effective demand in Chinese sports insurance market after the analysis of the sports insurance demand. Primary effect factors on effective demand of Chinese sports insurance are insurance wish and insurance ability. There are two reasons lead to the weak insurance wish: one is the insufficient insurance awareness, the other one is that they are unsatisfied with the insurance products and services. There are also two main reasons that lead to people's weak insurance ability: the first one is tightness of money; the second one is the high premium rate.The fourth chapter analyzes Chinese sports insurance market based on the supply aspect. In section 1, there comes the concept of sports insurance supply at the beginning, and then comes the main factors which affect the insurance supply. These factors conclude company (inside) factors and outside factors. In these factors, premium rate, the cost of insurance products, insurance technique and the safe capital quantity of the company belong to the inside ones; the price of complementary and substitute goods, market supervision, government policy and the degree of market standards belong to the outside ones. The content of section 2 and section 3 is the key point in this chapter. In section 2, there come some risks involved in Chinese sports insurance company first, like "Accident insurance" and "Synthesis Liability insurance". Then there come some recent famous sports insurance examples. Through the analysis of the present supply, we comes the result that not only can not the present insurance products satisfy the great demands, but also the models adopted by the most insurance companies hindrance the further development of Chinese insurance products. In section 3, there are analyzes to problems involved in Chinese sports insurance. The main factor that affects the sports insurance supply is the willingness and the ability of insurance underwriter. The weak willingness of the insurance underwriter result in the two reasons: low Marginal revenue and high specialization and complexity of the sports insurance products. Besides, there are 5 factors lead to the insufficient ability of insurance underwriter: first, laws and regulations are not perfect; second, quantity of insurance underwriter are few, the scale is small, the specialized degree is bad; third, management mentality of the insurance underwriter is improper; fourth, insurance underwriter lacks deep research to the sports insurance market; fifth, there is no effective competitive system.According to the state of imbalance of China's sports, the fifth chapter analysis the cause first: sports insurance brokerage system failure, and then focus on analysis of the sports insurance broker system failure reasons: sports insurance broker opportunism; adverse selection of sports insurance broker; the risk of moral hazard of sports insurance broker; sports insurance broker quantity is very few, the specialized qualities are low Chapter 6, the ending part of the thesis, first analyzed the opportunity and the challenge our country sports insurance development meets, then unifies analyzes in the above chapters, proposed some separately strategy on the demand side, the supplies side, the intermediary side to develop Chinese sports insurance market.Strategy on demand aspect includes: Increases the propaganda dynamics, carries out the sports insurance education positively, raises the national physical culture insurance awareness, expands the sources of fund channel, enhance effective demand ability in sports insurance market. Strategy on supplies aspect includes: strengthens the sports safe legislative work; formulates the special policy, expands the scale of sports insurance underwriter; increases the sports insurance product innovation dynamics; speeds up the sports insurance professional's raise. Strategy on the intermediary aspect includes: cultivates each kind of sports insurance broker positively; develops sports insurance broker's existing business scope unceasingly; encourages and guide sports insurance broker company to the collectivization, formalization direction so as to develop stronger competitive power.
