The Evaluation Of Land Use Efficieny

Land is the foundation of Livelihood of people, and the base of development, and the mother of the wealth ,which is the material base of a nation or an area to survive. The demand for land has increased with the social progress,Economic development and the increasingly hot of real estate. Big cities have strong aggregation ,which makes large numbers of people moving into the cities. The extension of big cities keep on expanding reflects the relationship between the cities'developing and the demand for land. However, due to the scarcity of land, and we must keep the quanlity of agricultural land, particularly farmland, the city must be thinking of raising the effective utilization of land, rather than blind expansion of land. With the proposing of scientific concept of development, pursuiting of land-use economic only has gradually been negative. the coordination of the Economic, Social and Ecological benefits has becoming the goal of land using. Therefore, the evaluation of land-use efficieny has became more and more important.This paper uesd the land-use data and socio-economic statistical data of Chengdu from 2000 to 2005 to evaluate the land-use economic-efficiency,social-efficiency,eco-efficiency and the three's coordination.The results showed that the land-use economic-efficiency,social-efficiency,eco-efficiency and the three's coordination were increasing year by year.
