Analysis Of Competitiveness Of China's State-Owned Commercial Banks

With the overall opening of the financial market and the acceleration of the economic globalization process,the competition between financial enterprises is becoming more intense. For historical and mechanical reasons,commercial banks always play a dominant role in China's financial industry.Till now,commercial banks remain the backbone of China's financial system. In the commercial bank system of China,the state-owned commercial banks gain absolute advantages against other types of commercial banks.The achievement of state-owned commercial banks is not only vital to the stableness of the banking sector,even to the financial system as well.What's more,it may also affect the steady development of the national economy. In consideration of all the reasons abovementioned,the study on the competitiveness of commercial banks in China attracts the attention of many scholars for a long period of time.So, it undoubtedly has sizeable academic and practical value to the design of bank competitive quota system,carrying on objective,overall analysis and appraisal to the present competitiveness state of the commercial banks in our country and making the effective tactics that can promote their competitiveness.In the dissertation,the author first conducts the study based on the theory of the enterprise competitiveness,explains the basic conception and characteristic of enterprise's competitiveness and defines connotation of commercial bank's competitiveness.On the foundation of the analysis of relevant research current situation of the domestic and international,a suitable competitiveness evaluation system is constructed.The author compares the competitiveness of Chinese and foreign commercial banks,and then analyzes the competitiveness state of the banks of our country in detail and find out the key factors influencing the competitiveness of commercial banks.Finally,this paper accordingly puts forward the measures and strategies, which establishes certain foundation for strengthening the competitiveness of our commercial banks and keeping their persistent development in a healthy way.
