Through the analysis of the domestic and foreign electric power market, this thesis first studies the importance of choosing appropriate segment market as the target market of the electric power enterprise. Then, the thesis analyzes from the point of power corporation, chooses different Segmenting standard to segment the power consuming market, through the compare and analysis to each method, gets different markets, and analyzes the character of each market. Then it establishes a appropriate index system for choosing electric power targeting market. Aiming at the targeting choice of power market in Xingtai region, adopting entropy weight, this thesis chooses the most attractive segmenting market, and constitutes pertinence marketing activity strategy for the choosing targeting market on the basis of demand side management.
