Along with the knowledge economy time arrival, more and more scholars have been was started to pay attention to compensation. As a major tool of the business management and motivate staff, many scholars development to research on compensation from the different angles and the different areas, as so to understood the salary management thoroughly, consequently, along with research thorough, about the salary management aspect research literature is also increasing year by year.However, we also found that despite the growing number of the research literature on compensation in recent years, very little experts summarize the present situation and the tendency on it, particularly in the domestic. We believe that the summarization on salary management will be conducive to the long-term development of compensation. Therefore, this paper will attempt to pay for research on the management of classification and review of the literature, try to outline the basic outline of the current pay in the domestic and study on the development direction of future research. It will provide the reference for the salary management research and the practice utilization.This article selects 314 literatures about salary management from the domestic management science core periodical, and according to the American salary management research classification standard and the domestic salary management research condition, they was divided into 5 big fields: basic essential factor research of compensation; influencing Factors of compensation; potency research of compensation; the research of design of salary system and the international salary management and so on. On this basis, this article carries on the comparative analysis from the various kinds.In the research we discovered the domestic salary management research presents the following phenomenon: (1) compensation research has mainly included the theory and practices research, however, more scholars research compensation from compensation in the domestic; (2) research technique had mainly used qualitative and the quota, but salary management literature get excessively attention on the descriptive analysis in the domestic, this already became a main method; (3) The salary management has two kinds of influences on the enterprise and the staff mainly: reward effect and separation effect, but study is insufficiently fully, the fundamental research is weak; (4) The research on salary management is from the sole angle perhaps in this domain, very little carry out the research during each domain in the salary and from the whole, the system angle to understand the salary management thoroughly.Therefore, this article believe that the future research tendency will mainly manifest in the following aspect: (1) in the research technique, we establishes the non-linear model to describe the influence factor and the salary as well as the salary as far as possible and delivers the relations; In addition, in the case research, we unifies the enterprise strategy, the human resources plan, the enterprise as far as possible pays ability and so on many angles to carry on the system analysis, but is not on the problem analysis question; (2) Enhancing the research of salary manages during each domain, and understanding the salary management thoroughly from the whole, the system angle; (3) In the circumstances of special economic system, organization pattern, organization culture, traditional position salary system, emerging ability wages, skill wages, serviceable research of wide band wages and so on need to be strengthened.
