The Research On Design Of Working Capital Management Decision Support System Based On Data Warehouse Technology

Working capital management is one of the most important parts of financial management. With the development of economy globalization, every enterprise must accelerate development of working capital management informationization. Working capital management decision support system is one of the important branches of financial decision support system which is the highest stage of information management in enterprise finance. Therefore, developing decision support system is an urgent affair which assists enterprise with working capital management decision scientization.The research thoughts of this thesis is posing problem, theoretical research, analyzing problem and solving problem. This thesis includes 7 chapters. In chapter 1, the topics discussed are research background, research purposes, research meaning, research contents and innovations of this thesis. In chapter 2, relative fundamental theories and methods of working capital management and decision support system are expatiated. Chapter 3 emphasizes on analysis of working capital management. It is brought forward that design working capital management decision support system from the angle of improving the quality of working capital flow channel. According to the demands of spiral software development method, customer is chosen to be the initial subject field and the example in the next two chapters. In chapter 4, systematic analysis on working capital management decision support system is made, including system objects, functions, system decision process and data flow process using customer relevant decision as example. Chapter 5 is the hard core of the whole thesis. This chapter expatiates on such key components as logical structure, data warehouse system, model base system, knowledge base system and human-computer interaction system in detail. In chapter 6, it is put forward that an adaptive logistics combination forecasting model in which weightings of each model vary adaptively with feedback weighting. We also bring time attenuation factor into combination model and provide punish mechanism aiming at jump of forecasting accuracy. In chapter 7, it is analyzed that working capital management decision support system applying into an enterprise from such three links as planning in advance, controlling in process, feedback afterwards which also provides an application thoughts for enterprises in China.Application of working capital management decision support system is favor of establishment and perfection of financial decision support system in enterprises, provides efficient support for advancing the level of working capital management and maximization of enterprises'economic benefits. It also provides reliable evidences for enterprises'working capital management decision based on financial decision support system.
