The survival environment of retail business has changed rapidly and acutely since China's entry into the WTO in 2001. The facts that the transnational giants hasten to hold resources, the type of cousumers' demand has increased and the new technology has used widely has brought great challenge to us. The rapidly development and application of technology innovation theory has played important role in using internal and external resources and enhances the market competitiveness for retail business, that causes both theoreticians and industrialists attach more attention to it. The problem that needs to solve urgently for policy-makers of Retail business is how to make staffs with different culture understand, accept and implement the theory effectively.In this dissertation we first discussed the technology innovation of retail business and staff's cultural value orientation. We established concept relation model between the technology innovation of retail business and staff's cultural value orientation and proposed corresponding hypothesis. Then we verified the hypothesis by questionnaire investigation and data analysis. We give the research result, the summery and the prospect at the end.Our main work can be summarized as follow:In the first part,have an investigation into the background and significance of our study. The framework and the methods are given.In the second part,the essential foundation of the theory is explored according to our comprehending.The theory of technology innovation and cultural value orientation is introduced. Then we selected the appropriate model after analyzing the characteristics of different models.In the third part,the approach of the study is designed according to the theory and the former cases.The original design of the questionnaire is given. We presented formal questionnaire after testing and modifying the original questionnaire.In the forth part,we analyzed the questionnaire with SPSS statistical software. The methods of reliability analysis, performance analysis and correlation analysis are adopted. In the fifth part,the summary and some suggestion is given according to the simulation results.
