| Cultural consumption will be the mainstay of consumption of humanities in the informational and economical society with the social productive forces unceasing development. To develop cultural consumption and industries is significant to the overall growing of humanities and progresses of society. As a northwest important city, with the west developing, the Lanzhou city has the pivotal status. There are many nationality and its culture is various, therefore, its cultural consumption has the certain distinctive quality, and the research on the cultural consumption of Lanzhou resident family will add theoretical and realistic value and show the immanent laws on similar city with the Lanzhou. Through multiprocessing and quota sampling, with questionnaire, this study not only summarizes the current situation, characteristics and tendency of the cultural consumption of families of Lanzhou resident family, but also assays the factors of it.The conclusion is as following. The proportion of cultural consumption of Lanzhou resident family in the whole domestic consumption is increasingly raised. The proportion of expenditure level of per capita cultural consumption in gross expenditure of living is 14.57%, which exceeds 5.14 percentages to that of 1996.In the omni-structure of cultural consumption, the expenditure level of non-substantial consumption is 39.52 percentages higher than that of substantial part. The specific structure of cultural consumption is manifold. Consumption for development is the mainstay, while consumption for recreation is moderately supplementary. Consumptions for education, tour and computer are more popular among the families of teachers in high colleges. Families of Lanzhou resident are satisfied with their cultural consumption. As characteristics are concerned, the motivation of their cultural consumption is not very intense but the ration of it is growing. The interests of their cultural consumption are identical in a way and varying to different families as well. Characteristics of each cultural consumption are discussed too. The expenditure level of their cultural consumption will upswing. The specific structure will be variety, in which consumptions for education, tour and computer will keep on prevailing. Generally speaking, the cultural consumption will be in a tendency, which is non-substantial, digital and intelligent, domestic and personal. The cultural consumption is greatly relative to the personal, domestic and social factors.This study not only extends the theories of sociology on consume in some degree, but also helps people realize the cultural consumption, thereby build up wise conception and improve it. It provides certain evidences to relevant departments when they are making decisions in adjusting and developing cultural industries. |
